P-47 crash in Steinsee / Germany - Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum

Hi,

does anybody have information about a p-47 crash in a lake called "Steinsee" (Stonelake) near munich. A p-47 was salvaged in the early 50s,
and i want to have more information about the plane.
