Last missions KG 51

Is there a good documentation about the last mission in April 45 available?
Looking for detailled info about their losses and missions.

Thanks in advance
Rolf

Re: Last missions KG 51

I would wait for the new book of Jan Horn on the Me 262 with KG 51. Not sure when he is releasing it, but hopefully not too long.

Re: Last missions KG 51

2./KG 51 flew last mission in May 1945 as part of Gefechtsverband Hogeback during Prague Uprising. Description is published in Book Praha v plamenech (Prague in Flames) about Air War around Prague and Bombing of Prague during World War 2. There are described all of jets actions in May 5 until May 8 1945 in Area Prague and as well jet actions during second half of April 1945.

Unfortunatelly book is available only in Czech Language.

ISBN: 978-80-86808-58-1

420 Pages, about 380 mostly unpublished Photos

Re: Last missions KG 51

On April 29 1945 changed I./KG 51 München-Riem A/F for Hörsching A/F. On April 30 1945 were transferred 8 Me 262 of I./KG 51 and 9 Me 262 of JV 44 from Hörsching A/F to Praha-Ruzyně A/F (Prague-Rusin).

Timeframe April 21 - 26 1945 was not of my interest.
