354th FG claims – May 23, 1944
Bonjour,
This day there, the 354th Group claims one German fighter during its escort of the Heavies from the Eighth Air Force (Source: Air Force report, May 23, 1944). I would like to have more details about this claim. (Pilot, Squadron and so on…) Merci beaucoup. Frederic

I have checked Olynyk's ETO Credits List and there are no confirmed claims for 23 May 1944 for any of the fighter groups operating. Maybe this was a claim that was rejected? Ashley

Merci Ashley. I wanted simply a check up on this claim. The information is in the general summary for the mission and you are right, probably this claims was not confirmed.
