Over Elbing 1944/1945
Hi,
On 26 January 1945 a single Me 109 shot down 4 soviet "sturmoviks' over Elblag's airfield within a few minutes. I am looking for any data about that one of the latest such victories. Who was it? What JG?, Etc. There were heavy dog fights over Elbing with many loses among Germans and Soviets. Perhaps any of you have information/ pictures connected with that not known period of East Prussian operation? Zdrowko

Perhaps Lt. Hermann Schleinhege, Staffelführer of 8./JG 54, he shot down two IL-2 on that day. No more info.
