Guys,

To add a small amount of information regarding G6+FY.

The Crashed Enemy Aircraft Report Serial No. 262, dated 2nd January, 1945
Listed enemy (Axis) aircraft crashed in Greece and examined by Technical Intelligence Officers.

On page three the following information appeared relating to a P.108 found on Sedes (Salonika) airfield.

Markings - G6 + FY (G6 small black,F white, Y black.)
Engines - P XII RC 35
Remarks - Burnt out.

Must have been one of the 14./TG 4 Piaggios used to help evacuate key personnel by air from Greece to the Reich in October 1944. The Luftwaffe's technical personnel got flown out while the non-technical peasantry had to hoof it north, a nearly 7-week ordeal. Many who left in September went by train to Belgrade, however.
