Ju88 shotdown by trawler Feb/Mar 42

On March 5th, 1942, The Times newspaper reported that the Trawler "Negro", with skipper Roger Stannard Cameron DSC and Bar, MiD (RNZNVR), shotdown a Ju 88. No position was given but I believe that the boat was serving as a minesweeper around the Grimsby area.

Sorry for being vague about the date but does this loss correspond with anything in the Luftwaffe files. I'm afraid I'm a complete novice on Luftwaffe losses so do not know where/how to start.

cheers
A
