Question for Peter Spoden
Herr Spoden,
After reading your biography in David Williams' Night Fighters and your own interesting autobiography Ich war Nachtjäger in Görings Luftwaffe I am struck by the lack of information, photographic and otherwise, concerning the specific aircraft you flew on your combat missions, i.e. code letters, Werke Nummer, etc. The only three I have noted concern the Bf 110 you used to make your first three Abschüße and the two Ju 88s you were flying when shot down, namely: Bf 110 C9 + KP on 18.08. and 24.08.43 Ju 88 2Z + FP on 27.12.44 Ju 88 2Z + DP on 7.03.45 Do you have any further information that you can share with us? mit bestem Gruß, Tom Semenza Last edited by Tom Semenza; 18th April 2010 at 02:49.
