Re: Coastal Command Hudson bomber
Hello Andrzej
Z.224 may have been written as Z/224 isn't it? Anyway, this was the typical Coastal Command notition of involved aircraft and just means 'aircraft letter Z of 224 Squadron. 224 Squadron was indeed equiped with Hudsons in June 1940 and the full aircraft code should have been QX-Z. Regards, Hans Nauta |
