Loss of S2+BA (St.G.77), 27.01.1943
Hi,
Does anybody have detailed information about the loss of Ju-87 D1 "S2+BA" from St.G.77, which was shot down by AA fire at Svoboda, near Rostov, on 27 January 1943? Human losses listed as 1 MIA. I know the MIA was the radioman, Uffz. Walter Maisch, but what happened to the pilot? And who was he? My presumption is that he was an Uffz. Jonas (who often flew with Maisch), but I am not certain. Any help will be greatly appreciated. All the best, Jason Mark
