which Me.109 /which LWpilot downed on Aug 17-1943/Beverloo,Belgium
A Me-109 crashed at Beverlo (Genemeer),Belgium,± 11.30 p.m. on Aug.17-1943.
The pilot (possible JG26 FF)bailed out and landed near the 'Baltische Kamp' Kriegsgefangenenlager near Beringen, Belgium. I'm looking for the name of the pilot. Which Me-109 crashed there , that time of day ? ( Werk#? could lead me to the name)) Thanks for any info or lead, Co.
