Photo-Reconnaissance
Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help me, I am currently looking into the photo-reconnaissance missions conducted by the Germans during the mid 1930s. I'm really keen to try and work out a journey detailing why they started taking photographs in certain areas. I understand that initially special cameras were fitted to Lufthansa aircraft on their trips to the UK. I'm currently trying to find out from Lufthansa what their flight paths were in the mid 1930s to define a starting point. Secondly when the Luftwaffe started photo-reconnaissance missions I'm keen to find out which areas they pin-pointed. I understand they would want to target military bases, naval and civilian ports, key economic targets etc but just wondered if anyone could possibly help assist me. I would be so grateful for any help or advice offered. |
