Fate of each P-47M-1-RE Thunderbolt
Hello,
I´m looking for information about the fate of individual machine this version of P-47 Thunderbolt. Some information are on this links: http://www.littlefriends.co.uk/ http://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_serials/usafserials.html ...but not all. This version was made in ammount pieces and served only in 56th FG in England and therefore I think it is possible determine the fate of each maschine. Does any info about scrapped machines between January and May 1945, or after end of WWII and inactivating of unit. Any info is welcome, as any discussion. Thanks Faenor
