Wrecked Beaufort in France
Hello,
Thanks to e-bay and Ed West we have this wrecked 217 Squadron Beaufort that crashed in France. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=170898261255 Looks like it could be - "MW-F" serial number "W6494" shot down by flak at Carpiquet, France on 13th May 1941.( Beaufort File). 12th May 1941 (CCL vol 1 Ross McNeill). Crew of four Sgt. DER Elwood + Sgt. GT Hardwick + Sgt W Bennett pow Sgt GAD Ritchie pow Anyone confirm ? Thanks Alex Last edited by Alex Smart; 21st August 2012 at 09:51.
