B-24 Crash

Hi All,

Can anyone help with a crash of a USAAF bomber, probably a B-24 which crashed on 26th June 1943 near to the village of Little Compton, Oxfordshire-Warwickshire border, I believe 7 killed but there are conflicting reports given to me by a local man.

I would be grateful for any help, thanking you in advance.

Mike C
