Adalbert Karbe, RKT and member of KG55
Hello,
I would be grateful for any information on Adalbert Karbe of KG55. I beleive he served with 3./KG55 and then transferred to 11./KG55. He was awarded the RK in November 1941 and was KIA after a sortie to Birmingham on 30/31 July 1942. I would really like to know when he left 3./KG55, when he was promoted from Leutnant/Oberleutnant/Hauptmann and any other pertainent information. Also, does anyone know if there are any photos of him as I have only seen one, half uniform shot.
