different bombs, different noises

Hello all,

I am not an accoustic freak, but I was wondering whether someone has come across descriptions which noise(s) a 4000 lbs Cookie makes during its fall down.

The sound of 'normal' (read: aerodynamically shaped) bombs is often described as 'whistling' but I have strong indications to believe that the 4000 lbs Cookie made a quite different noise, whether that be because of the blunt nose or because the projectile made little swinging movements due to its unaerodynamical shape.

Any help is much appreciated ! Many thanks in advance,
Marcel
