Plt Off Jimmy Ross, 222 Sqn, 27 Feb 42
The above clipped the River Blackwater and his Spitfire disintegrated at 1135 hrs on the above date. The AHB says he was flying AD558 but this was lost with Sgt Jock Wilson an hour or so later-anybody got any ideas or do I have to plough through the serials? Sadly the Accident Card is one of a number which were 'acquired' by a researcher some years ago
