andy bird is an unknown quantity at this point
F/Sgt Jan Wisthal 307 Sqn '41

On the 15 April 1941 the young pilot was flying a night patrol when the Defiant was shot at. The air gunner (name unknown) was unable to return fire having suddenly been blinded by the beam of a searchlight.

Does anyone know the type of enemy aircraft and also the name of the A/G.

Kind Regards

Andy Bird
