Use of Stab symbols on III./ZG26 Bf110s during 1940
Hello,
In working up the general EoE profiles for Bf110s of Stab III./ZG26, and the RKT Profile for Maj. Johannes Schalk, Gr Kdr, none of our research team has ever seen a photo of the nose of a Stab III./ZG26 aircraft with Stab symbols on the nose. However, these were known to have been used on Stab a/c for ZG26 Gruppenstab, and Stab I and II Bf110s during 1940. Does anyone have any evidence or photos that III Gruppenstab carried stab symbols on the noses of their a/c during 1940? Who can help? Regards, Larry Hickey EoE Project Coordinator
