Heinkel111H lost 27.10.40 KG1
Good afternoon, could anybody confirm from the NVM the following loss for 27.10.40.
the usual loss details, particularly first names functions etc. He111H-2 W.Nr 5541 V4+HW crew of Behres,Heinhold Rosenberg, Hartleib, Saumsiegel.A/c said to be of I/KG1. Lost during sortie to Horsham-St-Faith. I would have expected this a/c to have been from II/KG1 rather than from I/KG1 bearing mind the code and target area? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
