Mosquito MM195 Missing / 128 Sqn. RAF
Gentlemen,
one more Mossie from the last November days 1944: MM195, coded "A" took off November 28, 1944 @ 17:25 with target Nürnberg. She failed to return. Crew:
Questions: I was made aware that there is a German "note" that mentions a Mosquito shot down on November 28, 1944 at 21:35. Location is "Mayen/Eifel". There are two references to documents: J2431 and KE9843. Unfortunately, AIR14/3412 for that night does not plot die Mossies but only the later phase of the attacks on the Rhineland. But Mayen is definitely a logical area when en-route to Nürnberg. Does anyone have more information and/or copies of the referenced documents? Andreas |
