III./JG 3 losses Bodenplatte
During Operation Bodenplatte III./JG 3 lost two of his CO's. Lt. Jung and Oblt. von Treuberg. After publishing my book in 2004 I still try to locate the graves of some of the MIA. For this research I am looking for some details of previous injuries of;
Oblt. Eberhard Fischler Graf von Treuberg, born 06.07.1921, St.Kap. 12./JG 3. He is still posted as MIA on 1.1.1945. I know he was wounded on 30.05.1943 with 9./JG 52. Has somebody access to that NVM or could tell me what kind of injuries Oblt. von Treuberg sustained that date? Lt. Hans-Ulrich Jung, born 27.03.1922, St.Fhr. 10./JG 3. He is listed as buried at Ysselsteyn, Grave Z-6-141. Has anybody information on previous injuries of Lt. Jung? I could not find any loss data during his time with IV./JG 3 and III./JG 3 but I believe he must have been injured before. Any help would be appreciated.
