Claiming an enemy aircaft shot down after the war by an RAF Pilot. How?
So today I met a veteran who shot up a 109 and it vanished into the clouds. He thought of it as a probable and left it at that.
Two-years-ago he met the pilot of the 109 he shot up and he confirmed that he had crash landed after getting shot up. Today I was chatting and said "so you do in-fact have a victory you can claim" and he said he hadn't really thought about it until I mentioned it. So that's where we are now. Is it possible to have a claim/victory added to a Pilot's tally after the war and if so, how is it done? Cheers, MP |
