Re: Ju 87 Production at Weser Flugzeugbau
These serials were all 087xxxx. Just like Ju 86 and Ju 88, starting this practice in before 1936 - all were "serial system" where "designator" 087 was added. Weser was main contractor, after Junkers switched to Ju 88´s.
Later there were also six and seven digit Ju 87 numbers, plus designator. And there was also Ju 87 D- types with serial under (087)1000 and over (087)1000, NOT stating at (087)2xxx series, but I have not compiled the excact ranges. Besides 100xxx, 110xxx, 130xxx and 140xxx series and 494xxx, possibly some duplicating others. I have extracted, but not all are available thrugh GQM and/or Junkers records. Quite a lot to read really. -Ed |
