Unclear loss of Bf109G-4 in Lw.Kdo.Ost area 12.May.43
Hello,
the following record #45 (Lw.Kdo.Ost) in the GQM return for 15.May.1943: 12.5 1.Nachtaufkl.St. Tschern [sw Orel] Bf109G-4 19270 (weisse 13) 100% ... It seems the unit is wrong because 1.(F)/Nacht had Do217s/He111s and hadn't Bf109s and has operated in Luftflotte 4 area from Zaporosh'e (Saporoshje), far from Orel. Maybe "1.Nachtaufkl.St." means some close range unit really? Best regards, Andrey
