B-17G-75-DL 44-83330 at Gilze-Rijen (NL)

Hi readers,

Back in 1946 a B-17G, serial 44-83330, was purchased by the Dutch Rijks Luchtvaart School to become an instructional airframe at Gilze-Rijen.

The bomber was assigned to the 15 AF on February 22 1945. The machine was used for aerial mapping of the Dutch coast. Anyone having further details? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Benno (near RWY10 Gilze-Rijen AFB)
