Peter Stahl 6./KG30 August 1942
Hi guys
Somewhere along the line, I am sure that I have read an article in English about Stahl's crash-landing, and subsequent trek back to base by him and his crew, in the Far North of Russia/Finland that occurred on 28 August 1942, but I can't remember where. It may have been on a website or in a book/magazine. I am aware that the story appears in Stahl's German-language book - 'Kampfflieger zwischen Eismeer und Sahara.' Ju88 4D+GP (0142074) Any help appreciated. Brian
