German airplane shot down by french AA
Hi!
According two local newspapers "Le Progres" (05/16/40) and "Le Noveliste" (05/17/40) a german plane was shot down by french AA the may 14th 1940 in "F......" in territory of ISERE, near the Rhône river. The journalists didn't locate the place because of the censorship. The only place in ISERE near the RHONE RIVER beginning with "F" is FAVERGES. Don't you know about such a fact ? [IMG]  [/IMG]
