Hello Luc,
This kind of square concrete plots was also used on Raum 7B at Villers-Deux-Eglise where, it seems, was a FuGM 51 Mammut (and no hexagonal plot as for Würzburg Riese). I still have a doubt about it and it should be interesting if others researchers can confirm the FuG sets both in Raum 6B and 7B. By the way, hexagonal plots of 6C were demolished some years ago. For Raum 7, there is just one hexagonal plot left, on 7A site. My friend Roland Charlier wrote a valuable book about Raum 7 and the history of Florennes airbase, which share the same rich history as Raum 6 and former Brustem airbase. |
