Opinions on Strong Foundations: Driffield aerodrome book
Hello
I’m looking for opinions on Strong Foundations: Driffield's Aerodrome from 1917 to 2000 by Geoff Simmons, Barry Abraham. Hutton Press Ltd ISBN: 1902709136. Actually my main interest is the attack on the airfield on 15.8.40 by KG 30. How much there is in the book on this attack and how good is the info? Only the usual or much new info from ORBs (station’s, 73, 616 and 219 Sqns’, AA batteries’)? What opinion the writers have on Ju 88A vs Ju 88C controversy? From where one can buy it in London?
