Career Oblt. Gustav Francsi before he joined the Nachtjagd?
Dear all,
According to the excellent LW Officer Career database, Oblt. Gustav-Eduard Francsi served with KG40 and 10./NJG1 before he joined I./NJG100 and had a most successful career in the Ostfront Nachtjagd. What I would like to know are more details about his service with KG40, and if it indeed is correct that he served with 10./NJG1 (in 42-43?). I have never seen Francsi's Flugbuch and/or Leistungsbuch; did these survive post-war? Cheers and thanks for any details, Theo
