Fleet Air Arm aircraft crash

Looking for any Info of a FAA plane that crashed near Stonehaven (Aberdeen) on Saturday the 11th of November 1944.

The plane crashed in a potato field killing a farmer and POW.

Unsure of the aircraft type, or where it was based

Anybody got any info?
