Which squadrons took part in "Scharnhorst" attack 27/28-02-1942
Dear Members.
I hope someone can tell me which squadrons took part in the attack on the "Scharnhorst" on the 27/28-02-1942. I only know that 13 planes of 77SQ took part. I only know the number of plane types per Group: 6 Wellingtons van No.3 Group 2 Stirlings van No.3 Group 19 Whitleys van No.4 Group (including 13 Whitley's of 77SQ) 6 Hampdens van No.5 Group I hope someone can help me out. This information will be used in a presentation about the crash and the crew of the 77SQ Whitley Z9280 that crashed on this mission at Driesum, The Netherlands.
