Fliegerhorst Pocking ?
Hello Forum-friends,
Two weeks ago I did spend some time in the Passau-area; southern Germany close to the Austrian border. I was told that there was a "Fliegerhorst" close to Pocking, just SW of Passau. So far I had never heard of this airfield. Was it an operational field, and if yes, what type of aircraft and units were based there during WW2 ? All help very much appreciated. Regards, Benno
