Hi Folks, interesting additional details found in Soviet trophy-report on a downed Hungarian Me 109G-14 fighter. Plane was downed by flak on February 12, 1945 at 16:10, local, at Budapest-S, -SW. Altitude was 300 m, distance 800 m. Confirmed by 715 ShAP HQ. Single recce flight. Report says marking was 'B-161', о707595, pilot captured, - survived the war. From Hungarian records we knew, that this Hungarian pilot was Tábori Sándor tiz., the only possible Hungarian Me 109 with similar markings was W-1+61, Me 109G-14, WNr.: 511 247. W.Nr.:................511 247 DB 605 Serial:.....00707595 Marking:.............W-1+61 Pilot:..................Tábori Sándor tiz.
