Ju 88 / 1096
Hi all
According to a GQM loss report from On July 24, 1943, the Ju 88/1096 of KBS 2 crashed near Breitbrunn/A (near FP Hörsching/A). The crew: FF: Fw Wilhelm Schönborn + BO: Uffz Erhard Stauber + Sch Flg Helmuth Flohr + Sch Flg Arthur Göppert + was killed in the crash. The WNr. can't be true because the Ju 88 A-4/1096 was 80% damaged on July 6, 1942 by the 4/KG 77 in Sicily -and- Ju 88 A-4/141096 was still flying in March 1944 with the 10/KG 54. Can anyone help? best wishes JoMe
