"Thum" operations BAFO 1946 - what were they
Hallo!
What were "Thum" operations flown by BAFO Mosquito BXVIs (98 Sqn at least) over Germany? Year IIRC 1946 for these. Thum is town in the ex- East Germany area near Czech border. This makes me think the Thum -operations were probing Soviet air defences but I may be way off the mark. Thanks in advance for interest. Cheers, Kari
