Il-2 vs Hs126 May 1944
Hello!
19.May.44 and 22.May.44 two Hs126 were downed by wing guns of Il-2s (606.ShAP 280.SAD) west of Pskov (Pleskau). The wreckage of the 2nd Hs126 was photographed from the air. Unfortunately, the only visible marking is a Balkenkreuz and a light band behind it. I wonder which unit this plane belonged to (and the one shot down on May 19, if it really was shot down). Any details are interesting. Best regards, Andrey
