Volume 6 of "Losses of the U.S. 8th and 9th Air Forces"

Losses of the U.S. 8th and 9th Air Forces: Volume Six, ETO Area - January 1945 to March 1945
(29 August 2021)
By Stan D Bishop, John A Hey MBE, Gerrie Franken and Marco Cillessen
c. 600 pages w/ c. 200 b&w photos - hardback w/ dustjacket
£70.00

"The penultimate volume in this highly acclaimed series which has involved 20 years of painstaking research in order for Stan to bring this project to fruition plus of course collaboration with the late John Hey and Gerrie Franken and Marco Cillessen based in the Netherlands.

Each volume covers a period of three months and includes details of all Americans killed and also POW's flying from Europe in WWII with both the 8th and 9th Air Forces. Includes operational and non-operational losses. Details include name of aircraft and crew, location, mission details, what happened and where, next of kin, where they were buried and where they are now."

Copies of Volumes three and five are still available.

Volume 3 - £60.00
Special offer - £30.00 if purchased with another volume
"Some copies of Volume 3 have some minor issues where the binding was not completed correctly. The pages are still intact and I have not received any information that pages have become detached."

Volume 5 - £60.00

These are heavy books and, therefore, postage will be more expensive. £8.50 within the UK.

"Unfortunately volumes 1, 2 and 4 are now out-of-print. We have looked into re-printing but it will be very costly for small runs and would mean that the books would have to be retailed in excess of £100.00 each."
