KG53 operations 3-4 January 1945

Hi guys

On this night the Heinkel V-1 launchers of KG53 suffered a number of losses and casualties aboard other aircraft - was there a particular reason for this sudden increase? There do not appear to be many Allied night fighter claims so did they overfly RN warships?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
