Uffz. Hans Hahn, 3./JG 300, searching for crash site
Hi All,
presently I'm searching for a possible crash site of the Me 109 G-6, which I could not find so far. Based on PVM's the plane is crashed at July 19th 1944 at Wieden, 5km west of Todtnau. Pilot Hahn bailed out and was injured. During the last 15 years I talked to many people in the area but nobody in the area is aware of any crash in WW II. Are there any ideas where the plane could have crashed? Also where pilot came down? Interesting to me is that JG 300 was not active in that area that day. So even possible the plane crashed somewhere else. Thanks for your support Rolf |
