Misterious death of Sgt. Crossland Peter (No. 148 Sq.) 26.11.43. Yugo

Hi all
On 26.11.1943. Halifax Mk.II "JN888" from No. 148 Sq. flew night mission Hundon "somewhere in Yugo" and returned safely sometimes at midnight on 27.11.43. However Sgt. Crossland Peter who was part of the Halifax crew was apparently KIA on the same date, and was buried later in Belgrade military cemetery. Sources: AIR-27-995-22, AIR-27-995-22,
