Since Russia invaded Poland as well in 1939 they could have had a few aircraft force landing on German territory up to 1941. Did they have any bases on Polish soil during this period? No idea, but quite likely. That in turn means when starting their Barbarossa campaign aircraft must have been left behind. Anyone with real knowledge who wants to take a crack? Ed (and other) Your photo here is quite interesting https://www.ebay.de/itm/267116276066...Bk9SR8zot4OHZQ The aircraft is a Farman 451 Moustique and almost 100% it is the former F-APKH There was a photo on e-bay a long time ago showing the same aircraft in French markings just after capture.
