Loss of Oblt. Werner KÜHL 2./LG 1 JU 88A-4 L1+A night of 24./25. May 1943
Gentlemen,
any help is greatly appreciated! The Junkers Ju 88A-4 "L1+A" flown by Oblt. Werner KÜHL of 2. /LG1 was lost during night operations on May 24/25th, 1943 to Bone harbour (now port of Annaba, Algeria). They probably were shot down by a nightfigher - all crew is MIA since then. Crew: Uffz. Helmut SIEFKEN Uffz. Wilhelm JÖRG Gfr. Johann BURGER, *29.5.1923 at Traisen, Lower Austria ANY further details are very welcome! Thank you very much in advance. Regards, K.
