Photo 3. Took some head-scratching but almost certainly B-17F 42-3557 (390BG) "ESQUIRE" missing 30 Nov. 43 ( German note says 21 Dec.) Mission 143 to Solingen, MACR 1401 says crash-landed Julich about 18 Kms. from Kerpen-Buir as the photo says.
Nick There is another reference to "Julich" on here but can't remember where.
