Topic about Konter's and Fischer's claims on 4/5 th sept '44. I'll ask one more time. Did Lancasters (not british bombers generally) really fly over Poland? If yes why no Lancasters (only Halifaxes) fragments were found in places which were claimed in Konter report from 5th sept? Halifax and Lanc are very similar in flight so night fighter could make a mistake, couldn't he? btw, Do you have any pieces of information about Lancaster's flights over Poland? I mean dates, sqadrons, crews, reports, targets etc?
