Re: Fw 190 of II/JG 1 on 20th Nov. 1942 mission
Hello all,
From the KTB II./JG 1: translated roughly No operations were flown from Woensdrecht. Schiphol: Uffz Schmid (5./JG 1) encountered with the Seeaufklärungsrotte 4 Bristol Beaufort. Was able to shot down one Beaufort, the other three escaped into the clouds. Seems to me only two fighters, of which one was Uffz Schmid. Other name unknown. The Rotte took off from Schiphol. Other sources also state Uffz Schmidt. Best wishes, Rob
