Looking for ID of KG51 Ju88 W.Nr. 8044 down in 1940
Hello,
Am trying to ID two photos of a force-landed Ju88A that has the numbers "R 8044/88" printed on the nose. The plane appears to have yellow or possibly white spinner tips and is in good condition, with only badly bend prop blades and some posible flak damage. This is not the same Ju88 that came down on 5.6.40 with the number "29" on the tail tip (9K+HM). Does anyone have information or other photos that would help me identify this loss? This could be a casualty during the French Campaign or the Battle of Britain. Thanx, |
