Lost Blenheim 14 April 1940

Hi guys

On 14 April 1940, a frustrated young Canadian would-be pilot - AC2 James Lewis (holder of a private pilots licence) 'stole' a Blenheim of 40 Squadron from RAF Wyton and set out for Norway. He failed to return.

Does anyone know the serial number of the Blenheim and its fate? Did it simply run out of fuel and crash into the sea? A sad story.

Cheers
Brian
