JU-88 D-5 without gondola
A search through my library uncovered the attached picture, from "Luftwaffe im Focus" #1, p.30., captioned as "A6+CH" of
FAGr 120. A high resolution scan of the photograph leads me to believe that the wk.nr. - 4 digits in white at the top of the fin - definitely ends with a 7 and that the shape of the other numbers is not inconsistent with "008" - i.e. the number may well be 0087 - could this be the same aircraft ? http://ktsorens.tihlde.org/flyvrak/iceland.html I've obviously got something against gondolas, unless they are in Venice !
